Welder / Fabricator - Permanent - Fife

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established and busy engineering and fabrication business based in the Fife. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity within a structured workshop environment offering long-term stability and consistent work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabrication and welding of structural steel components, working from technical drawings, and supporting occasional site installations where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication and welding of structural steel components
  • MIG welding (TIG experience advantageous)
  • Working from engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Operating hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery
  • Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Working both independently and as part of a team
  • Supporting site installations when required
  • Keeping workshop and yard areas clean and organised


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
  • Strong MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Experience within structural steel or heavy fabrication environments
  • Valid CSCS card preferred
  • Clean driving licence required
  • Forklift or overhead crane experience beneficial but not essential
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work to deadlines
