We're proud to be partnering with a high-quality, food-focused pub in the Petworth area, known for its welcoming atmosphere and consistently strong cooking. The kitchen works with fresh, seasonal ingredients across lunch and dinner service in a professional but supportive environment.
We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work closely with the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in maintaining standards, leading service when required, and helping develop menus and specials.

Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the Head Chef with kitchen operations
* Leading service when required
* Overseeing prep, mise en place, and service delivery
* Assisting with stock control and ordering
* Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
* Helping develop menus and specials
* Training and supporting junior team members

This is a great opportunity for a strong Sous Chef or experienced Junior Sous looking to step up within a well-run, reputable pub kitchen.
