Production Operative
Location: Birstall, West Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour (increasing to £13.75 after 12 weeks)
Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026 or Monday 2nd March 2026
Shift: Days / Afters Rotation shifts
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives for a large, well-established manufacturing site based in Birstall.
This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, supporting manufacturing, packing, and quality control operations. Full training will be provided, and there are long-term opportunities available for the right candidates.

Important Dates
* Induction Date: Thursday 19th February 2026
* Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026

Key Responsibilities
* Operating machinery within a production environment
* Measuring, mixing, and handling materials safely
* Packing, labelling, and preparing products for dispatch
* Carrying out basic quality checks
* Following all health and safety procedures
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Working as part of a team to meet production targets

Shifts & Pay
Shift Pattern - Rotating Days and Afters
* Days: 05:50 - 14:00
* Afters: 13:50 - 22:00
* Friday Afters: 13:00 - 19:00
Pay
* £13.53 per hour
* £13.75 per hour after 12 weeks
Overtime Rates
* 1.5x hourly rate - weekdays and Saturday
* Double time - Sunday

Candidate Requirements
* Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
* Willingness to work rotating shifts
* Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on role
