Our client is seeking reliable, hardworking, and motivated Garden Centre / Horticultural Operatives to join their busy team located near Chichester (own transport required due to location).

General Duties

You will be working across greenhouses, production areas, and warehouses that produce a wide range of horticultural products, including bedding plants, flowering pot plants, and themed container displays. This is a physically demanding role involving regular bending, lifting, and carrying.

Tasks include:

• Operating potting machinery
• Packing plants and flowers (bulk and individual)
• Loading pallets and vehicles
• Moving and spacing plants within greenhouses
• Re-potting plants as they grow
• Checking labels are correct and presentable
• Watering and deadheading plants and flowers
• Manual handling throughout the role

• A strong awareness of health and safety
• Own transport required due to location
