Production Operative - Filling Department

Location: Batley / Birstall
Pay Rate: £13.53 per hour, increase after 12 weeks.
Job Type: Full-time, double day shifts

As a recruitment consultant, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Batley / Birstall area. We are looking for an experienced Production Operative to join their Filling Department.

This is a hands-on role involving the filling of paint tubs and operating production machinery within a fast-paced production environment.

Working Hours (Double Day Shifts)

Early Shift: 5:50am - 2:00pm
Late Shift:** 1:50pm - 10:00pm
Early finish on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

* Filling tubs of paint accurately and efficiently
* Operating and monitoring filling and production machinery
* Identifying and reporting any machine faults
* Completing basic machine cleaning and maintenance
* Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
* Keeping the work area clean and organised

Candidate Requirements:

* Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential
* Strong transferable skills from similar environments
* Confident working with machinery
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work double day shifts
