Location: Aberdeen (with occasional travel to offsite projects)

We are looking for an experienced Oxy‑Propane Cutting Operative to join a hands-on team performing precision cutting, fabrication, and support for decommissioning projects. This role offers exposure to industrial metal processing and decommissioning work across multiple sites in Scotland.

Role Overview

You will work mainly from the Aberdeen site, carrying out precision oxy‑propane cutting, and support mobile teams on offsite projects when required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate oxy‑propane and related cutting equipment on metal and structural components

• Carry out accurate, safe cutting of scrap and industrial material to specification

• Support mobile teams with cutting and downsizing work on decommissioning projects

• Maintain cutting tools and equipment in safe working condition

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and site procedures at all times

• Work efficiently to meet operational targets and deadlines

About You

• Proven experience as an Oxy‑Propane Cutting Operative / Top Burner / Industrial Cutter

• Experience in industrial, decommissioning, or heavy metal processing environments

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

• Able to work independently and adapt to offsite projects

• Self-motivated, reliable, and skilled in heavy fabrication/cutting techniques
