AUD $68,541.20 - $96,808.40 per annum + superannuation + salary packaging
Approx. £34,300 - £48,400 per annum

Available Opportunities

Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit
A specialist adult acute inpatient service providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and individually tailored care for individuals experiencing severe mental ill health.

Mental Health Nurse Pool (Inpatient Services)
Permanent roles offering flexibility and variety across multiple inpatient units, including:

  • Adult Acute Units

  • Older Adult Inpatient Unit

  • Community Care Unit

  • Rehabilitation Unit

  • Specialist inpatient mental health services

Pool roles provide job security alongside diverse clinical exposure, helping nurses build broad experience while maintaining work-life balance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, recovery-focused mental health nursing care

  • Build therapeutic relationships with individuals and their support networks

  • Conduct assessments and implement evidence-based interventions

  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

  • Uphold legislation, policies and best practice standards

  • Contribute to service improvement and clinical excellence


About You

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with a postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing

  • Minimum 24 months UK experience in a mental health clinical setting (inpatient and/or community)

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care

  • Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2022

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work rotating rosters including nights

  • Willingness to work across multiple hospital sites

  • Commitment to professional development and reflective practice
