Highly regarded Legal 500-ranked law firm seeking an experienced and proactive Private Client Legal Secretary to join our established team in Basingstoke.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a respected department known for delivering high-quality legal services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and trustees.
The successful candidate will play a key role in providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, ensuring an efficient, professional, and client-focused service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing full secretarial support to Private Client fee earners, including Partners and Solicitors
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and formatting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Trust documents, and Probate paperwork
- Managing diaries, arranging appointments, and coordinating meetings
- Handling incoming calls, taking messages, and liaising with clients in a professional and confidential manner
Skills and Experience Required:
Essential:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client
- Strong typing and document formatting skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- High level of attention to detail
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
