We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic General Assistants and Kitchen Porters to work across schools and healthcare settings across North London.

The Role

You will support kitchen teams in fast-paced environments across schools, care homes and hospitals, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food service, and safety. Typical duties may include:

• Washing up and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
• Basic food preparation and service
• Supporting chefs and catering teams
• Setting up dining areas and clearing down
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Essential: Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or General Assistant within a hospitality or catering environment
• Preferred: Experience working in schools, care homes, hospitals, or similar settings

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Understanding of food hygiene standards

Due to the nature of the environments, successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Criminal Record Check, arranged at no cost to you.
