We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Stockport for an Electrical Assembly Technician. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday paying £14.83 - £16.28 per hour.

Typical duties include;

* Wire panel back-plates from circuit diagrams and panel layouts.
* Producing the highest possible standard of electrical build.
* Installation of control cubicle and field components.
* Terminate and secure external cabling to the correct points in the control panel.
* Install PLC & HMI programs
* Carry out earth continuity, insulation, and pre-delivery testing
* Where necessary, perform remote support and on-site support to breakdown situations.

In order to be successful you will need be;

* Time served electrician, with experience of industrial control system wiring and fault finding.
* Ideally 18th Edition certified.
* Experience of working with PLCs, servo drive systems and AC inverters.
* Must possess a current driver's license.
