Counterbalance Forklift Operator - Early Shift

Location: Glasgow
Pay: £13.06ph to £13.87ph
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

We are recruiting for a highly motivated person to work in our logistics area on a constant early shift within our busy warehouse, logistics and factory. The successful candidate will have good experience of working on FLT's with a minimum of a counterbalance B1 license and will preferably have a (M1) multidirectional license.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate forklifts safely to move raw materials, timber components, and finished modular units across the factory and yard
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and minimal damage
• Supply production lines with required materials to maintain smooth workflow
• Manage stock levels, record material movements, and support inventory control
• Organise and maintain storage areas in line with site layout and safety standards
• Assist in the movement of large structural components such as wall panels, floor cassettes, and roof sections
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report any defects or safety concerns
• Follow all on-site health & safety procedures, traffic management rules, and PPE requirements
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and free from hazards
• Complete paperwork such as delivery notes, stock forms, and movement logs accurately
• Communicate effectively with production teams, supervisors, and delivery drivers

What We're Looking For

• Experience in working in a Warehouse, Manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 1year Counterbalance experience
• Preferable hold a M1 multidirectional license
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive team player
