A unique opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at one of East Sussex's most distinctive and well-regarded countryside venues.

This role is perfect for an experienced Chef de Partie looking to step up into a more senior role within a creative, award-winning environment that delivers a wide range of services - from à la carte restaurant dining to stylish weddings and large-scale events.

The Venue

Set in a beautiful rural location, this is no ordinary country pub. Known for its quirky charm and luxurious character, the property blends rustic warmth with modern touches, creating a destination venue with real personality. The site has earned two AA Rosettes and a loyal following thanks to its imaginative menus, attentive service, and versatile offering.

In addition to the main pub and restaurant spaces, the venue regularly hosts weddings, private events, and BBQs, offering chefs the chance to work across multiple formats. The property also features 16 beautifully designed boutique hotel rooms, adding to its appeal as a premium destination.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience at Chef de Partie level or above in a fresh food kitchen
• A passion for seasonal, high-quality cooking and strong presentation skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver consistently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across restaurant, events, and wedding services
