The Role
As Café Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all café operations. This is a varied position where you'll oversee everything from supplier management and ordering to ensuring top-class customer service. If you thrive in a role where you can take full ownership and introduce new ideas, this is the perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day café operations
- Set up and review contracts with suppliers
- Maintain adequate stock levels
- Train colleagues in drink preparation and correct use of equipment
- Maintain Environmental Health compliance records (fridge temperatures, food safety, cleaning)
- Keep expenditure records up to date
- Manage the staff discount scheme
- Ensure all café and preparation areas are clean and well-maintained
- Report faults and manage equipment repairs
- Complete any required training, including Level 3 Hygiene and Food Safety
